About usEn Espanñol

Richard AndersonI, Richard Anderson, am a cultural anthropologist. I have had a special interest in Mexican art and culture (resume) for many years, and I am indebted to Mexican artists and craft-makers for the many things I have learned from them.

In an attempt to repay that debt, in 2007 I began making websites for Mexican artists, craft-producers, and others, hoping to help them promote their work in the global marketplace via the World Wide Web.

Because I now only teach one semester per year, I am able to live most of the time in Tlaquepaque, Mexico, where I continue to make websites.

Kim AndersonMost of the sites result from a close collaboration between me and my wife, Kim Anderson, a painter, whose good eye and color sense largely determine the appearance of the sites we make. We are proud of our sites' attractiveness, a direct result of our combined efforts.

I charge only enough money to pay for some of my expenses: The rest of my compensation comes from the opportunity to make friends, to learn more about Mexican culture and its many flourishing arts and crafts, and to support people whose work I enjoy and respect.
